Can you purchase seats in Sabre?

Not at this time. Seats can only be purchased and assigned on jsx.com. 

Are JSX fares available in the GDS?

JSX distributes private fares to select agency partners in Sabre. At this time, JSX is not available in any other GDS systems. 

Can you purchase a seat for a pet in Sabre?

Pets, including both big dogs and those in a carrier, can only be booked via our support team. Please reach out to JSX to book pets. Our full pet policy can be found here

Do you accept UATP cards?

No, JSX does not accept UATP as a form of payment. 

What is your policy on holding a ticket.

Tickets for travel more than 3 days out can be held for 24 hours. Travel booked within 3 days of departure cannot be put on hold and must be ticketed immediately.  

I see JSX inventory in Sabre but cannot ticket.

JSX only distributes fares to select travel agency partners. Please reach out to sales@jsx.com if you are interested in learning more about our sales programs for travel agencies. 

Can I book the New York City Area (NYC) routes in Sabre?

JSX is now flying between the New York City Area (NYC) and South Florida starting October 2025 but at this time, it is for Club JSX Members only. Flights aren’t available in third-party platforms due to current system limitations. We’re working toward a solution but for now, direct booking is the only way to experience this new route. 

You can still book our flights from Westchester County (HPN). 

What is the format of Club JSX account number?

Club JSX account numbers are 9 characters, all numeric.

How do you enter a Club JSX number in Sabre?

Please use the standard FF command format in Sabre. If you are using native Sabre, the command would be as follows:

FF(owning carrier)(FF number)-(name selecting to associated passenger)

Example: FFXE123456789-1.1

 

Can you waitlist a JSX flight

No, waitlisting is now available on any JSX flight. 

What are the change and cancellation fees?

Bookings made through Sabre are subject to the following fees:

  • Changes can be made any time up until departure for $50 change fee

  • Cancel up to 1 hour prior to scheduled departure time are subject to a $100 fee. The remainder of the ticket value will be available a credit shell for future travel on JSX

Reservations made through the JSX portal are subject to the following fees:

  • 30 Days Prior to Departure Date – No Change Fee

  • Less than 30 Days - $50 Change Fee

Cancellations.

You are able to cancel your flight up to 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time

  • 30 Days Prior to Departure Date – Full Amount is retained as a credit in the portal

  • Less than 30 days and more than 7 days - $75 Cancel Fee and remainder as a credit in the portal

  • Less Than 7 Days - $150 Cancel Fee and remainder as a credit in the portal

Does JSX revalidate tickets?

No, JSX does not revalidate tickets. An agent will need to reissue the ticket.
